PowerSchool Parent Portal Information

Beginning August 20, the USD 508 school district will enable a new feature for PowerSchool called Parent Single Sign-On.

PowerSchool has developed a process to allow parents and guardians to view information about multiple students using a single username and password that they create.  In order to use this feature, parents must first create an account.

To create a single sign on account, follow the directions below:

  1. Go to the USD 508 Powerschool login page
  2. Click the Create Account button
  3. A screen will appear where you will enter your first and last name and email. You will also choose a User Name and Password.
  4. Next you will enter the name of each student you wish to associate with.
  5. Enter the Access ID and Access Password for each student.
  6. Click the Enter button.

If you are successful, you will see a box telling you the account was created. If you have trouble, check to make sure all the requested information is entered correctly.

We encourage you to be active in your child’s education and we hope that this new feature will offer convenience and ease. If you have any further questions, please contact the building secretary at your child's school.
