Mission Statement

I would like to start by welcoming you to the USD 508 Baxter Springs website.  I hope that you find our website both easy to navigate and informative.  Technology continues to be an important focus for our district.

In my time at Baxter Springs, I have come to understand what it truly means to work together as a school and community to provide the best environment to educate our young people.  Every decision we make is based on what is best for our students.  Our staff at USD 508 take pride in everything we do and make it a mission to educate the whole child.  We believe in setting high standards for our students and know that with the partnerships we have established with our parents and community, we will continue the tradition of excellence in academics, the arts and in extra-curricular activities.

The USD 508 family would like to thank our patrons for allowing us the opportunity to work with the greatest students in the four state area!  It’s always a great day to be a LION!!!
