Graduation Requirements:
Four (4) Credits of English (English I, II, III, IV or Concurrent English IV)
Three (3) Credits of Social Science (World History, Am. History, Government)
Three (3) Credits of Science (One must be a lab science.)
Three (3) Credits of Math
One (1) Credit of Physical Education
One (1) Credit of Computer Science
One (1) Credit of Fine Arts (Any class from Art, Foreign Language, or Music)
One (1) Credit of Freshman Rotation
Reading Class (The student must pass each semester they are enrolled at BHS.)
Eleven (11) Elective Credits

Special Note: Students may not enroll in two English courses in the same year as part of their regularly scheduled day at BHS. English classes must be taken in an alternate setting outside the school day. Other required courses must be made up the next school year or through an alternative setting by the next school year. See your counselor for further information.
Academic Honors (Begins with the Class of 2011):
(To be considered for Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and a top 20% Honor Student you must qualify for Academic Honors.)
In order for a student to qualify for academic honors her/his senior year, she/he must meet the following criteria:
In addition to the state and local requirements, these classes must be successfully completed.
-Math classes must include Geometry and Algebra II.
-One advanced science beyond the Biology requirement. (Biology II,
Physiology, Chemistry I & II, or Physics)
