Hobbies & Interests: I live in Baxter Springs with my husband, Gary. We enjoy antiquing and taking ‘road trips’.
We have two sons and two daughters. Our oldest son, Jeremy, is Postmaster in Fayetteville, AR. His wife, Melissa, is a teacher in the Bentonville Schools. They have three precious sons I call my ‘grandboys’. My youngest son, Josh, is going to Arkansas University in Fayetteville where he is majoring in Math. He’ll be working on his Masters and wants to become a high school math teacher. He also went to Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa where he received a degree in Aeronautics Aviation. He holds a commercial airline pilot license. Our oldest daughter, Stephanie, works at Joplin Globe as a supervisor in the circulation department. Our youngest daughter, Candace, went to PSU. for her Bachelors and then received her masters degree at the University of Hartford in Connecticut. She is a music teacher in Galena, MO. and lives in Branson.
I graduated in 1984 from PSU with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I’ve been teaching for 24 years and I continue to find great joy in my students and a passion in my profession. I enjoy reading, shopping, and just hanging out with my husband and family. We attend Central City Christian Church in Joplin.
