Occupation: I work for USA Drug in the pharmacy acquisitions group.
Reason for running for the Board of Education: I served on the site council for Clear Creek Elementary in Shawnee, Kansas before moving home to Baxter Springs. It was during this time that I realized that I would like to build on my experience and serve the community of Baxter Springs on the USD # 508 School Board. With 2 children, and numerous family members in the school district, I have a vested interest.
Future achievements/goals for USD #508: I would like to see our test scores as a district continue to increase yearly. I would also like to see the continued use of technology within each classroom.
Additional information: I am married to the former Stacy St.Clair and we have 2 children, our daughter, Morgan, is a 9th grader at Baxter Springs High School, and our son, Brendan, is a 5th grader at Central Elementary. I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, and fishing. I am a member of the Baxter Springs Kiwanis Club, as well as a Baxter Springs Little League baseball and softball coach.
